This clas was very interesting, I learn a lot about some topics new to me, sometimes the classes were fun i enjoyed them, working with songs and videos was exciting, it's not the same that always, filling excercises on web, it was important for me don't miss this class. In my opinion life is so beautiful that  only it depends on you how you want to live it. Life would be boring if you always do what you have to do, it's great when you feel the emotion to do what you want but you get it when you take risks. Life gives you chances but if you be afraid to take risks you won't take advantage of them.

Try to take risks, if you do it, you will find if it worth it or not otherwise you won't know it. Remember and don't forget if you want to achieve something you need to take risks,  nothing ventured, nothing gained.

A ghost was seen at the Gran Colombia University.

Last friday a little girl was seen  at 11:30 pm  by the university's guard, The lights of the classrooms were being turned off  when a girl passed across the hall, the guard thought that some student had been in a classroom finishing her homeworks late. The exit doors had already been closed so the girl was looked for, but she wasn't found. Next day the experience of the guard was told to the manager's cafeteria "Marina", she sayd that the girl have already been seen by her and other guards even by some teachers. 

The university was built over an old hospital this could be the reason of the ghost, the guard hopes the ghost isn't seen again.

I don't know much about conditionals, but I think they need to use "If" in their structure.

 A conditional is what we use when we need to express that the action in the main clause can only take place if a certain condition is fulfilled.

  b.  When do we use a conditional?
A conditional is used when we need to express general truths, things which may happen, things which are unreal and  to talk about unreal situations in the past, that is, things which did not happen in the past.

c.  How many types of conditionals are there?
In the video are four types of conditionals: Conditional Zero, conditional I, conditional II and conditional III.

My vacations of Holy Week

What I did on Holy Week

This Holy week wasn't vacations at all to me, I had to work from Monday to Thursday, the rest of the weekend I decided to stay at home, these days I got up late, got together with my relatives and my boyfriend, ate a lot of fish, did homeworks and watched religious movies.

Actually I’m  a catholic person so there were some things I couldn’t do like go to a party, drink beer, listen to music loud, so on, I think  Holy Week  is a week to reflect  therefore I went to my neighbor’s church with my parents and brothers, I watched movies like José and The passion of the Christ.

Also I had time to share with my friends,  I got out with Cristina, she is an old friend, I hadn’t seen her  for a long time so we met on the  shopping center near to my house, we talked for hours, ate an ice cream we really had a great time.

I almost forgot to do homeworks, to tell the truth I waited until the weekend to do them,    so I did some tasks and in the Sunday evening I went to the cinema with my boyfriend, we watched Hansel y Gretel: Witch hunters, it was an interesting film we didn’t think it was a good movie, I really like it, although I couldn’t travel, this Holy week was nice to me.

What's a defining relative clause?

It's what gives essential information about the noun or noun phrase it modifies, without which the sentence wouldn'nt make sense as the listner or reader would not be able to identify the noun in the sentence. 


What's a Non-Defining Relative Clause?

It's what gives extra information about a noun or noun phrase and has commas at both ends.

In 1949 There was a Mexican Women Called Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo Calderón,  but everybody called her Frida Kahlo. She was alone in her home and she was thinking about her sad life, she thoght about  her illness becouse of it she couldn't bear children, she remembered all the moments she had to stay in bed so she couldn't had physical contact with men, then she decided to go out with other women, Diego and Frida also shared lovers, Diego had a crush with the famous  actress María Felix, well Frida really loved her husban althought he was a womanizer. Anyway she felt a maternal love towards her husband and it was exactly what she wanted to represent in a beautiful painting which she called: "The love embrace of the universe".
